Watch: How Is "Heroes" Like a Bad Ex-GF to Milo Ventimiglia?

So. Many. Emotions.

We're still processing the crazy-bananas-nerdgasm announcement this morning that Zachary Levi will be starring in NBC's Heroes reboot, Heroes Reborn, which is set to begin production in March. We know Jack Coleman (Horn-Rimmed Glasses, always and forever) is also on board. But will the show's leading man, Milo Ventimiglia, also sign on as a cast member?

Doesn't sound likely.

I caught up with Milo while he was promoting his new series, ABC's The Whispers (a creepy new series with American Horror Story star Lily Rabe),  and you can see what he told me about Heroes Reborn in the video above, and specifically, why it's like a crazy "ex-girlfriend" who comes knocking at juuuuust at the wrong time.

See, Milo is starring in the new ABC drama that's currently filming in Vancouver (Heroes Reborn will shoot in Toronto). And given that it's on a different network, working out the logistics might not be feasible. And besides, Milo's heart is now, apparently, in a different place.

See what he says above! (And I promise you'll hear from Lily a bit later about The Whispers.)
