Kate Middleton (and her burgeoning baby bump) could not possibly be any cuter!
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, paid a visit to The Fostering Network's headquarters in London Friday, where she met with foster caregivers, children and staff. The pregnant princess was all smiles for the occasion, looking every bit the yummy mummy in a chic brown dress with a belted bow tied around her waist.
Inside The Fostering Network, Prince George's mum sat down for tea and snacks with the kids and adults involved in the program. The newly launched Kensington Royal Instagram account posted several pictures of the duchess, including one in which she was presented with a "Memory Box" to help her remember her time there. According to the pic's caption, children in foster care are encouraged "to keep photographs and other items in a box as keepsakes to help them remember their positive experiences with their various foster families."
Lucy Peake, director of development at The Fostering Network, was grateful for Kate's interest in the organization. In a statement, she said: "A visit from The Duchess helps to shine a spotlight on fostering and the need for more foster carers, particularly to look after teenagers, disabled children and groups of brothers and sisters. We are very grateful to her for her interest, and know that the foster carers and care leavers attending our event today are excited to be sharing their experiences and stories with her."
The experience seemed to be a positive one for Kate as well. Kensington Palace Instagrammed a photo of her smiling as she waved goodbye, writing, "Thanks to all the carers, children and staff at the Fostering Network who shared their stories with The Duchess of Cambridge this morning!"
She is the people's princess, indeed!
