But they may think twice about packing it on at the Emmys again.
"I know you're newlyweds, but you cannot keep your hands off each other," Meredith Vieira pointed out during Wahlberg's sit-down on The Meredith Vieira Show, airing Thursday. "Do people ever stop you on the street and say 'get a room'?"
"Yes, they do," the Blue Bloods star and New Kids on the Block member admitted. "Every day they do."
And not just "people," either...
"We were at the Emmys, actually, and we were kissing backstage," Wahlberg recalled. "We didn't really sit in our seats, we were just backstage in the green room kissing the whole time, and we heard this voice behind us go, 'Get a room.' And I look back and it's Morgan Freeman."
"That's pretty cool, when Morgan Freeman tells you," Vieira said.
"Well, yeah," Wahlberg agreed. "I mean, we're happy. We're in love and we're happy, and I'd rather have everyone say 'you guys are all over each other all over the place' than 'look at the drama you have all over the place.' We are not fighting, we are not bickering, we're happy."
Amen to that. (And not just because an actor who's played God multiple times has witnessed their happiness up close and personally.)
Next up for McCarthy's happily wedded husband, NKOTB has been booked as the house band for Live! With Kelly and Michael on Jan. 20. We have a feeling quite a few fans will be rising and shining early for the occasion.
