Let's be honest, one of the very best things about Disney Channel's Girl Meets World has been seeing many of our beloved Boy Meets World characters stop by. And our favorite alum to return? Shawn (Rider Strong), Cory's (Ben Savage) BFF, of course!
And it looks like we're not the only ones who love having Uncle Shawn back in the gang as Cory and his daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) are looking to give him a reason to sticking around: a new love interest.
In the exclusive photo above from tonight's episode, "Girl Meets Master Plan," the father and daughter-duo are trying to set Shawn up...with her BFF Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) mother., played by Cheryl Texiera.
In the episode, Maya is celebrating her 14th birthday with the Matthews family, but is upset over the fact that her mother has work (she's a waitress, as you probably gathered from the photo!) and probably won't be able to join them. Hm...maybe having the awesome Shawn as a potential stepfather could help cheer her up?!
We also have another exclusive snap from the episode, which finds Riley, Maya and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis), who fans will know is the son of Minkus (Lee Norris) from the original series, hanging out (or plotting?!) in Riley's room.
Strong isn't the only BMW alum stopping by the hit sitcom soon; on Wednesday, Savage almost broke Twitter when he tweeted the ultimate Boy Meets World reunion selfie, which featured him, on-screen wife Danielle Fishel, Strong and William Daniels (aka Mr. Feeny!). His caption? "The Feeny Crew."
