When it comes to feel-good music, leave it up to Gwen Stefani and Pharrell to get the job done.
The two hitmakers and Voice coaches teamed up to create a catchy track for the upcoming film Paddington, and there is no doubt in our mind that you (and your children, if you have any) will unknowingly catch yourselves humming, singing and tapping to this tune for a while.
"Shine" is the lead single off the forthcoming Paddington soundtrack, and the lyric video has just hit the Internet!
The minute-and-a-half clip features different (and adorable) scenes from the film, in which the iconic Peruvian bear finds himself in all manner of mishaps while trying to find a home and ultimately working his way into our hearts. Meanwhile, Pharrell and Stefani sing a number of inspirational lines like, "Hey, if it feels right, it ain't wrong," and "I just wanna shine."
"What a wonderful opportunity, as a parent, to contribute to something as classic, authentic, and generational to all of our lives, as Paddington Bear," Pharrell, father to 6-year-old son Rocket, said. He also tweeted the video and wrote, "It feels really special to be part of something as classic & timeless as the @PaddingtonMovie, in theaters this Fri."
Gwen tweeted the clip as well, writing, "Did song for new #PaddingtonMovie w/ @Pharrell called #SHINE Movie's out Friday. My family loved it - so fun."
