We're going to be fading in on some of our favorite girls with a hunger for fame when Smash's Bombshell hits the stage for one night only. According to Zap2It, Katharine McPhee, who currently stars in the CBS drama Scorpion, says she will hit the stage with several of her co-stars from the short-lived (yet beloved) NBC musical series this June as part of a fundraiser.

"It's so, cool. I'm going to be there—me and Megan—everyone—Debra, Anjelica," McPhee tells Zap2It. "It's going to be so fun. That was such a great, really fun—another really special job."

The Megan, Debra and Anjelica she's referring to are of course Megan Hilty, Debra Messing and Anjelica Huston, all of whom appeared on the NBC series opposite McPhee for two seasons. The cast of Smash also included Christian Borle, Jeremy Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez, Jack Davenport, Andy Mientus, Raza Jaffrey, Leslie Odom Jr. and Jaime Cepero. Jennifer Hudson and Uma Thurman appeared in guest roles.

Bombshell, the fictional Marilyn Monroe musical at the center of Smash, will come alive for a benefit for The Actors Fund. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, producers on the series, are being the production. Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman wrote the 22 Bombshell songs for the series, including Grammy and Emmy nominated "Let Me Be Your Star" and the showstopper "Don't Forget Me."

The two seasons of Smash followed the creation of two musicals. The first season revolved around Bombshell and the second also featured Bombshell, but also saw the creation of another stage show, Hit List. Some of the cast of the second season reunited for a performance of Hit List songs in December 2013. Both Hilty and McPhee have sung Smash songs in concerts not associated with the show.

The one-night only Bombshell event will now be held on June 8, the day after the 69th Annual Tony Awards, in New York City. A rep for The Actors Fund confirmed the original cast is scheduled to appear, subject to availability.

Until June 8, we'll be here, listening to the Bombshell soundtrack, waiting for the best day of our lives.
