Smacking your gum isn't a good look, and neither is getting it all over your face—unless, of course, you're Jessica Chastain!

The Interstellar star got sticky (but stayed cute) in a Wrigley's gum parody with Jimmy Kimmel. In the silly spoof, which aired on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jessica demonstrated how "not to load" your minty fresh stick of Wrigley's gum!

First, though, the late-night host (rocking a mullet wig!) properly showed her how to "load the gum with one fluid bending motion" in order to achieve "the perfect load."

After that, it was Jessica's turn to explain how not to react to your first taste of gum. "The response needs to feel natural," said the narrator. "It's important not to overreact to the taste of the gum." Here, a very '80s-looking Jessica completely lost it over stick of Wrigley's, resulting in a giant "X" across her face!

After that, the actress and Jimmy chewed their gum as they jointly rode on a dated cardio machine. Then, Jessica successfully demonstrated why "it's important to keep the load in your mouth," by doing just the opposite and getting gum all over her fingers and face!

Miraculously enough this Wrigley's spoof hasn't stuck with Jimmy or Jessica in their later careers! Neither, it seems, have Jessica's early experiences as a singing housecleaner. During Tuesday's visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live, she recalled "starting a theater group in my cul-de-sac" that would go door-to-door raising money as "dirt-busters"!

"We would go to people's homes and we would sing [a Ghostbusters-inspired theme song]," she said. "Then we would we would go inside people's home. They'd be in their bathrobes and we'd be cleaning their kitchen," she remembered laughingly. "We weren't very good so we got like a couple dollars."

Hey, you've got to start somewhere!
