Get those wine glasses ready, Will & Grace fans, because Will and Grace are about to be reunited.

Will & Grace star Eric McCormack will be appearing in an upcoming episode of Debra Messing's show, The Mysteries of Laura, as her ex-fiance. Unfortunately, he's also a murder suspect.

McCormack will be guest-starring as Dr. Andrew Devlin, a "roguish, arrogant-as-can-be heart surgeon" who happens to have been engaged to Laura once upon a time. His ex-wife has been murdered, and he becomes Laura's lead suspect. Apparently, sparks will fly.

Will & Grace ran on NBC for eight seasons from 1998 to 2006 and broke a lot of ground in terms of LGBT representation on TV. Since the show ended, McCormack has shown up all over television, including as the lead in TNT's Perception, which premiered in 2012 and ran for three seasons.

The Mysteries of Laura follows Messing as Laura Diamond, a homicide detective in the NYPD who has to juggle her life as a detective along with her life as the mother to two twin boys. She already has an ex-husband as a regular fixture on the show, so we can only imagine the chaos that an ex-fiance will add to Laura's already chaotic life.

Based on the description, we can't imagine we'll get any of the classic banter from McCormack's appearance, but just seeing them together once again will most likely be enough for our Will & Grace-loving hearts.

The Mysteries of Laura airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.

(NBC and E! Online are both part of the NBC Universal family.)
