We might have a new couple alert on our hands after a source tells E! News that the young and gorgeous star is dating EDM DJ Zedd, however other sources say they're just working together. The pair was spotted out and about last night while cutting loose with some fellow A-listers at a Golden Globes after-party, after also being seen together at Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood on Saturday night.
An eyewitness, who was also at the InStyle-Warner Bros. party, tells us that the twosome engaged in innocent PDA (she apparently saved the kisses for gal-pal Jaime King), saying Selena and Zedd were holding hands at the event.
Gomez, who stunned in a white cutout gown, posted a photo with the "Clarity" hitmaker and stars Nina Dobrev, Jessica Szhor and Nat Wolff. She simply captioned the pic, "fam."
"Selena was in a giddy, excited mood," the insider mentioned, but noted that it was also partially due to her new famous BFF. "Selena was really excited when talking to Jennifer [Aniston]."
What we do know for sure is that Selena and Zedd are currently collaborating on some new music. The singer has posted Instagram photos of herself and the popular musician hitting the studio together to work on her upcoming album, and the DJ also shared a snap of Selena kissing a bobble-head, writing, "@selenagomez likes Johnny from 'The Room'... a lot!"
There's no word what they're specifically working on, but Zedd has some bangers under his belt.
The 25-year-old Russian-German was the mastermind behind Ariana Grande's "Break Free," Lady Gaga's "G.U.Y," "Stay the Night" with Hayley Williams and even co-produced Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat" (that's a little awkward). Zedd was also named the seventh highest-earning DJ last year by Forbes with $21 million.
A rep for Zedd confirmed that he and Selena have worked in the studio together.
