One major trend in the all-that-glitters realm? Diamond drop earrings, which were worn by Amal Clooney, Emily Blunt, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Lopez and Gina Rodriguez. We loved Emily's turquoise-and-diamond Neil Lane baubles, which added a bright note of color to her sweeping white Michael Kors gown. Mrs. Clooney, meanwhile, wore a 29.62-carat pair of Deel earrings that seemed to virtually pour diamonds from her lobes.
Reese Witherspoon may not have won the Golden Globe for her role in Wild, but she definitely nabs the honor for some of the most expensive bling of the night: The actress stepped out with a whopping $1.5 million-worth of Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a 6.75 carat platinum ring worth $695,000, $600,000 diamond earrings and a dazzling diamond cuff (set in 18-carat gold) valued at $200,000.
Naomi Watts' lust-inducing, serpentine Bulgari necklace was an obvious bling winner (and trend starter) from last night, along with Julianna Margulies' diamond Bulgari necklace and Lorde's Neil Lane collar neckpiece.
