Is this the first fashion faux pas at the Golden Globes?
Rosamund Pike hit the 2015 Golden Globes red carpet in a white Vera Wang gown that looks, well, a little ill-fitting. Don't get us wrong, the Gone Girl star has made many a stunning red carpet appearance in recent weeks, and we have to give credit for that rockin' post-baby bod (Rosamund welcomed her second son with husband Robie Uniacke just over a month ago).
It's just that her gown could be pulled up a bit (invisible bras—an invention we hope comes to fruition in the future), and perhaps more form-fitting. The ultra low-cut back is also questionable.
But to cut Rosamund some slack, this is her first Golden Globes! Yes, we mean first ever.
"I had baby five weeks ago, so I've been in a completely other zone," the actress told Live From the Red Carpet host Ryan Seacrest. "I'm really excited [about being nominated]. I would be astonished if I was up there."
Ryan then asked, of course, about the dress in question.
"This is Vera Wang, who came to me and said 'I know what to do with you right after you've had a baby, leave it to me,'" Rosamund said, revealing that it was her first choice gown. "It's an amazing honor that we get to wear dresses like this."
