Gina Rodriguez has a huge day ahead of her.
The Jane the Virgin star is a first-time nominee at the Golden Globes.
"I wake up and I'll probably go boxing with me dad," she told yesterday at BAFTA-LA's Tea Party with Mulberry, Jaguar and American Airlines at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills.
Then they'll have a breakfast that her mom will make just like she did yesterday. "She held back the bread because knows how tight my dress is tomorrow," Rodriguez said. "I was like, how are you going to even tease me, mom, with all that delicious butter? But I will be having that the second I get out of the dress."
She cracked that she tried on "7,000" dresses before making her final decision.
"But you know what's crazy?" Rodriguez said. "I like the second dress and it's the one we went with. After trying on all these dresses, I kept going back to this dress."
Her date for the night? Her eldest sister.
"She helped me pay for college," Rodriguez said. "She's one of my heroes and I love her."
