Holm, who proposed to Maynard at the end of her Bachelorette season in 2012, spoke about the exciting announcement to E! News.
"Emily is already a great mom. I'm sure she's beyond excited for this new addition to her family," he tells us. "Ricki is going to be such a fun big sister. I'm so happy for them and wish them all the best."
Holm and Maynard announced their breakup later that year.
"I am sorry to tell you that Jef and I have, indeed, parted ways," Maynard said in a statement in October 2012. "It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision."
Emily revealed that she's expecting her first child with hubby Tyler Johnson when she Instagrammed a pic of her growing baby bump, and jokingly captioned the photo, "too much pizza" while adding a #july2015 due date.
Emily and Tyler gushed to Us Weekly (who was first to report the happy news) that they're "super excited" about their expanding family.
Future big sister Ricki, 9, is undoubtedly looking forward to the new addition as well. Sadly, Ricki's father, Emily's fiancé Ricky Hendrick, was killed in a 2004 plane accident before she was born.
Emily met Tyler through church, a source told E! News, and by early 2014, the two were engaged. The lovebirds made their love official when they said "I do" in June 2014 with a beautiful country wedding.
