Mike Huckabee has decided to weigh in on Jay Z and Beyoncé's marriage (because that's a totally normal thing for the 59-year-old conservative politician to do, right?).

The former governor of Arkansas has released a new book appropriately titled "God, Guns, Grits and Gravy" and, in addition to discussing topics such as gay marriage and airport security, he also shares his, um, insight into the power couple's relationship.

"Beyoncé is incredibly talented—gifted, in fact," reads an excerpt from Huckabee's book, posted by U.S. News & World Report on Thursday. "She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing."

Doesn't sound too bad, right? Well, let the man continue: "She is a terrific dancer—without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom," he writes. "Jay-Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?"

Yes, that is a real excerpt from Huckabee's book, and unsurprisingly, many are calling his comments both racist and sexist.

While the politician's remarks are certainly WTF-worthy, we simply must point out that Huckabee is just plain wrong for a number of reasons.

First, Jay Z and Beyoncé each have their own production companies—Roc Nation and Parkwood Entertainment—proving that they both manage their own careers with their own respective teams.

Second, the 33-year-old singer already had a notable career of her own long before coupling with Jay Z (does Destiny's Child ring a bell, Huckabee?).

And last but certainly not least, Queen Bey, who has her own legion of fans separate from her hubby and has proudly declared herself a feminist, has previously been named Time's most influential person as well as the most powerful celebrity in the world, according to Forbes—two notable titles which her husband has yet to take home.

As for Huckabee? Well, perhaps we'll let his foolishness slide considering chapter 10 of his book is titled, "Bend Over and Take It Like a Prisoner."

Seriously, we can't make this stuff up.
