Asked how much they rehearsed for tonight's co-hosting gig, Faris admitted to Giuliance Rancic during E!'s Live From the Red Carpet special: "Probably not enough, it feels like."
"It's going to be improv, the whole thing," added Janney.
"I do hope even if we mess up or whatever there's a feeling of spontaneity going on about the show, and our love for each other will translate," Faris continued in earnest, while also stunning in a white midriff-flashing gown by Juan Carlos Obando.
About her own plunging dress, Janney noted that she was strapped in so tightly, "there's nothing coming out of here."
And in reality, neither Mom star seemed particularly nervous at all, despite Janney's claim that they were "both terrified."
"We get along really well," the five-time Emmy winner said of her and Faris, who plays her daughter on the hit CBS sitcom. "We have similar work ethics, we like to have fun the same way. We're eble to relax together, too. We're not what you'd call 'divas.'"
"We just laugh all day long," Faris added. "I couldn't ask for a better actress and friend in my life."
So we have a feeling that the co-hosting chemistry will be on in full force tonight. Good luck, ladies!
