Would you give an arm and a leg to star in Moschino's spring campaign? This model (sort of) did.

Moschino's spring 2015 campaign offers striking black-and-white shots of the brand's latest Barbie-inspired line, with long-legged blonde beauties Anna Ewers, Hollie-May Saker and Sasha Luss headlining the affair. There's just one thing missing from the ultra-feminine ads—Luss' left leg.

Maybe it's a marketing ploy. Maybe it's an honest mistake. But either way, it's snagging a lot of attention. Usually it's clothing companies' absurd Photoshop practices that make the headlines, a la Urban Outfitters' scandalous thigh gaps or Target's unfortunate crotch crop. But cutting out a leg? That's a first!

Known for its pop culture-filled, even fast food friendly designs, Moschino's spring line takes a step away from its usual zany attire in favor of girly glamour. The monochromatic ads, shot by acclaimed Vogue photographer Steven Meisel, show off Moschino's latest itty-bitty minis, peace sign bikinis and heart shaped shades—all cues straight from the Barbie playbook. And while the black-and-white shots convey the dizzyingly playful nature of the designs, it's worth noting that the ads fail to showcase the popping pink hues that are a must in any Barbie-inspired collection.

Among Moschino's biggest celeb fans are Katy Perry and Anna Dello Russo, both who've been caught in the brand's iconic McDonald's-eque frock. Even Miley Cyrus is a huge fan of the label, and is a personal friend of Moshcino's creative director Jeremy Scott.

But back to that leg—or the lack thereof. Perhaps the ad is a huge uh-oh moment, or maybe Moschino's just pulling our leg.
