Are the Bluths ever coming back?

After Arrested Development's buzzed-about fourth season return in 2013 to Netflix, rumors of a fifth season, and a possible movie, have run rampant, but nothing has been confirmed.

So you can imagine our absolute delight when Netflix's Ted Sarandos finally addressed the series' return at the 2015 Winter TCA Press Tour on Wednesday, saying, "I've been very optimistic about how it all comes together."

Yes, we just blue ourselves. And did a little chicken dance, too.

But it might take creator Mitch Hurwitz and the Bluth gang quite a bit of time to reunite again, Sarandos warned.

And when you consider the talented line-up the show boasts—Jason BatemanWill ArnettJeffrey Tambor,Tony HaleMichael CeraJessica WalterPortia De RossiAlia Shawkat and David Cross, and that's not including guest stars like Ben StillerMae Whitman and Liza Minnelli—it's easy to understand why we may have to wait a bit for season five.

"It's, as you can imagine, an incredibly complicated show considering how busy the entire cast is and trying to line up schedules and trying to line up the talent to do it," Sarandos said.

But he was quick to add everyone involved is "trying to make it happen and we're trying to make it happen on a time-schedule that works for everybody."

As for what season five would look like? Sarandos said there was not a story "that I can talk about today."

But it seems likely that fans will be seeing more of the cast together on-screen, after Sarandos said fans' complaints over the fractured storytelling of season four, which characters getting their own episodes, was "a fair criticism."
