This takes DIY to a whole new level!

Amanda Peet stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, and while she was there she discussed her three children: Molly, Frances and Henry. Her son was born only Dec. 6, but she is already up and running thanks to a home remedy that helps her deal with post-baby problems. Although it isn't foolproof (she did put her pants on backwards), she swears that raw cabbage (what?!) is the secret to breastfeeding.

Ellen DeGeneres innocently claimed that she saw a picture of the A Lot Like Love actress brushing her teeth in her bra in her morning meeting, but instead of wearing a normal, padded bra, Peet had pieces of cabbage stuffed in her boobs! Why? Apparently it helps with pain.

"Apparently when you get engorged after the baby's born and the milk comes in...you can put cold cabbage leaves on your boobs and apparently it stops the milk," Peet explained to the host.

Although the actress explained the purpose of her interesting natural remedy, it doesn't clear up why she documented her embarrassing mommy moment LOL. It turns out her husband finds the cabbage cups just as entertaining as we do.

"This is my husband being very amused by my porno boobs even though I'm in excruciating pain," she laughed.

Peet revealed that she has used the cabbage for each of her pregnancies in the hopes that it would help with her painful engorgements despite it "not working, really."

"It makes for a really great picture," Peet joked.

That it does!

Of course, the host asked what we were all thinking—if other veggies work—and apparently it's only cabbage. Good to know!
