It's the most wonderful time of the year…award show season is back!

Before we gear up for the 2015 Golden Globes Sunday night, the fine folks behind the People's Choice Awards are promising an unpredictable show filled with your favorite stars.

As an added bonus, every award handed out is voted on by the people across the country. Cue the heartfelt acceptance speeches please!

Before the fun kicks off tonight at 9 p.m. on CBS, we have a few more reasons to get you pumped for the first of many award shows this year! Let's see how the people vote tonight!

1. Celebrating Ben Affleck's Good Deeds: Talk about a special surprise! In a last-minute addition to the show, the Oscar winner will receive the People's Choice Award for Favorite Humanitarian. Thanks to his work with Eastern Congo Initiative and other important causes, executive producer Mark Burnett thought Affleck was perfect for the honor. "It highlights a different side of a celebrity," he explained, "and helps bring awareness to a cause that our audience can support."

2. Iggy Azalea Gonna Get Fancy: One of music's biggest chart-toppers from 2014 will take to the stage to perform one of her biggest hits. While the "Favorite Female Artist" nominee is keeping her song choice under wraps, we're seriously hoping for some "Booty." Lady Antebellum and Fall Out Boy will also sing tonight.

3. Live From the Red Carpet Returns: Before the first award is handed out, we strongly suggest you head over to E! where Giuliana Rancic and Ross Mathews will be chatting with all your favorite stars. And if you love fashion, we've got you covered there as well! Zanna Roberts Rassi will also be on-hand to share her style insight and background.

4. Hostess With the Mostess: It's going to be a family affair as our favorite TV mother-daughter duo takes over the show. Moms stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney will make their hosting debut as they help introduce presenters and bring a few special surprises to the audience. One request: Can Faris bring hubby Chris Pratt onstage? Shirts optional, of course!

5. A-Listers Galore: Don't underestimate the power of the People's Choice Awards. While some may think this show is filled with a majority of CBS stars, we're here to prove you wrong. Robert Downey Jr., Ellen DeGeneres, Olivia Munn and Kevin Hart are just some of the famous faces who secured the best seats in the house. And did we mention Betty White is in the front row….next to Chris Evans?!
