Donald Trump Still Thinks Keshia Knight Pulliam Should Have Called Bill Cosby for Money, Even If He Thinks She Hates Him

Donald Trump never, ever regrets his firing decisions.

And for better or worse, getting rid of Keshia Knight Pulliam on The Celebrity Apprentice's first episode simply had to be done.

"This show was taped just before the terrible Bill Cosby revelations came to light." Trump wrote on Twitter after The Cosby Show alumna was fired partly because she didn't reach out to Cosby on a fundraising task. "She still should have asked him for money-goes to charity."

As Pulliam stands by her decision not to reach out to her TV dad she hasn't spoken to in a long period of time, another Hollywood star is coming to her defense.

After watching Sunday's episode, Hollywood director Judd Apatow had his own theory as to why Pulliam didn't make the important call.

".@RealDonaldTrump she didn't because she probably hates him," he tweeted. "She has know for years that he is an awful person. Accusations started in 05."

What could be more surprising is Trump's reaction. "I agree," he responded on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.

It's quite the different tone from what the boardroom leader led on yesterday with E! News. "[Keshia] made a mistake. She didn't call [Bill Cosby]," Trump told us. "She could have called him and perhaps he would have made a major contribution and that would have made a big impact on her stay."

But can you blame the girl who thought it would be "tacky" to reach out after so many years?

In recent months, Trump has been quite outspoken on the rape allegations surrounding Cosby.  Although the comedian has not been charged with a crime, Trump thinks Cosby is handling the controversy in the worst way possible.

"Well, I think it's very sad and frankly I don't think he's handling it well," Trump disclosed to E! News. "He should say something because he's being accused of terrible things—and to have absolutely no comment, I think, he's getting very bad advice from a PR standpoint, and he should do it differently."

Despite being the first fired contestant in the new season, Pulliam has no regrets about her decisions and simply wishes her other donors came through in time.

"That's a decision I made and I stand by it," she told E! News. "I felt that it would be amazingly tacky to call someone [Cosby] after not having spoken to them, and I didn't feel that I needed that contribution at that time. A couple of other donors didn't come through."
