Forget black leather dresses: This season, we want one in every hue.

Stars have been stepping out in little leather frocks and we're taking notice—not only because the look is super sexy, but because the new, more colorful version of the trend is vibrant and unexpected. So farewell cold weather black-and-white (well, at least for this week).

Zosia Mamet took to the fourth season premiere of Girls in New York City on Jan. 5, sporting a red-hot Alexander McQueen frock and Brian Atwood pumps in a matching crimson hue. Kate Bosworth, meanwhile, also rocked leather in a warm hue in recent weeks: The star donned a Coach leather shirt-dress and coordinating Coach clogs to an event for the brand on Dec. 11.

But Emmy Rossum's look might be our favorite of all: A chic gray J. Mendel midi that Rossum paired with black pumps at the Shameless premiere on Jan. 5.
