You know how sometimes you go to the theater and say, "two for Game of Thrones, please," and the cashier looks at you confusedly, shaking his or her head and saying, "That's not a movie?"

That might just be us, but either way, for one week at the end of January, that scenario no longer has to be so sad!

Starting January 23rd and ending January 29th, Game of Thrones will be a movie. And not just any movie – an IMAX movie. Fans will get to see the last two episodes from season four of the crazy awesome HBO series remastered just for IMAX. Plus, moviegoers will be treated to the worldwide debut of an IMAX-ized sneak-peek trailer of season five!

Sure, it might turn out to be mildly disappointing when we'll have to go back to normal TV screens when season five actually starts airing sometime this spring, but seeing any part of one of the prettiest shows on TV on the big screen is going to be a total treat.

In the featured episodes, titled "The Watchers on the Wall," and "The Children," not only will we get to see that gigantic battle scene as Jon Snow and the Night's Watch defend the Wall from the Wildlings, but we'll also get to watch Tyrion get the ultimate revenge on dear old dad – and in IMAX, no less!

As for the trailer, not a lot is known about season 5, but perhaps we'll get a glimpse of some of the new faces joining the cast, or maybe of some of the first ever Game of Thrones flashbacks we've heard so much about

To purchase tickets for the event, which will be shown in more than 150 theaters nationwide, you can go to www.imax.com
