AKM-GSI What can we say about the year in hair? Ever since we lost our s—t over Beyoncé's pixie cut and graduated bob in 2013, other celebrities followed suit and 2014 became the year of the lob!
It was also a year where the rules all went out the window and celebs were out to redefine themselves.
Whether it was drastic color changes for Lena Dunham, major shifts in length with Megan Fox's locks or "babylights" for Jessica Alba, A-listers brought their A-game and initiated some trends that are sure to stick around in 2015.
There were so many amazing hairstyles for short hair, long haircuts and haircuts with bangs, that this list was hard to narrow down. Some looks were so good, we were still picking our jaws off the floor even weeks after the change.
It seems like Hollywood celebs were trying to see who could shock us most—and surprising hair changes came from very unlikely sources. Who would have thought that Kate Hudson would go pink for breast cancer awareness? Many stars decided to hob nob with the lob (long bob) haircut this year, and we were at the edge of our seats wondering who would be next for the big choppity chop. Even Robert Pattinson got into the shear action of it all with the wacky mushroom cut that he debuted in November.
Anne Hathaway's miraculous hair growth is worth mentioning, as is Taylor Swift finally giving us a change of pace with her cute shaggy lob. And these were only a few of the looks we couldn't stop talking about.
