At least it will help with the snow, right?
A massive wall attached to the Morton Salt building in Chicago collapsed today, sending a giant mountain of salt onto cars parked within the Acura dealership located next store to the factory.
The Chicago Fire Media Twitter account confirmed the collapse earlier, writing, "Building collapse. Elston and Potomac Morton salt." They added, "No reports of injury. Cars affected from Acura dealership."
Chicago Fire also posted lots of pics from the scene of the salty accident.
In the wild photos, several Acura cars that are parked near the collapsed wall are partially covered in a mountain of white salt that is several stories high. A big, gaping hole in the side of the Morton building is also clearly visible.
Today's crazy salt spray collapse of 2014 sure gives a new meaning to the brand's catchphrase "When It Rains It Pours" (LOL!).
Check out the pics of the collapse for yourself.
