Molly Sims is a true supermodel mama!

The 41-year-old pregnant star is expecting baby No. 2 with hubby Scott Stuber. The couple and their 2-year-old son, Brooks (looking oh so cute in a pair of Platypus Australia shorts!), are currently enjoying a holiday vacation in the Bahamas, and on Monday, Sims Instagrammed a WhoSay photo of her bikini-clad self alongside her two boys in the clear blue water.

As you can see, Sims is in excellent shape. During her first pregnancy, however, she gained a reported 72 pounds, and after giving birth to Brooks in June 2012, she found it nearly impossible to shed the baby weight.

"I would workout for an hour and 45 minutes, an hour and 50 [minutes]," Sims told ABC News. "My neck was…I looked like a football player…I kept asking people, I'm like, 'I don't feel right.  Something's wrong with me.'"

Sims recalled people telling her, "Oh, it's your hormones. Oh, you just had a baby. Oh honey, don't worry about it.  You're in Hollywood and you're putting so much pressure on yourself to lose weight."

Finally, four months after giving birth, a doctor diagnosed Sims with thyroiditis, an inflammation of the thyroid gland. "He was like, 'Uh-oh. Something is wrong with your thyroid,"" she told ABC News. "My neck was huge. I mean, literally, huge."

At that point, she was given medication to regulate her hormones. "My neck slowly started going down," she said. "It took a year."

The experience was obviously not a fun one, but Sims hopes something good can come from her sharing her story about it. "My wish is that [women] don't stop asking people what's wrong," she said.  "I tell these women, I'm, like, 'If you think something's wrong, ask a million people...Just don't give up.'"
