Looks like it's goodbye to all that (in Brooklyn, at least) for Michelle Williams.

The actress has sold her Boerum Hill brownstone for $8.8 million, a home which she originally bought in 2005 with then-beau Heath Ledger for $7.5 million. Following the actor's death in 2008, Michelle continued to live in the townhouse with her and Ledger's daughter, Matilda. The sale was first reported by the real estate blog 6sqft.

Back in September, the ivy-covered brownstone was listed for $7.5 million—the same amount that Michelle and Heath paid nine years ago. But we can see why the home sold for more than the asking price: Featuring four stories, six bedrooms, custom wine cellars, a three-car garage, landscaped roof deck and radiant heat floors, Michelle's Brooklyn hideaway was destined to be a hot item on the market.

Michelle and Matilda, meanwhile, will now reside primarily in Los Angeles. (And although Michelle was the epitome of Brooklynite chic, we imagine that her L.A. home shares the same warm, rustic indie vibes.)

In November, Williams, 34, finished a Broadway run as Sally Bowles in a revival of Cabaret. She's also been busy with on-screen roles (her next film, Suite Française, will debut in 2015) and serving as a Louis Vuitton brand ambassador (we're still drooling over those campaign shots from last spring).
