A Las Vegas man has been charged with a DUI in the September car accident involving Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini. Robert John Reitz, 53, was charged in the state of California after driving with a .08% blood alcohol content, according to NBC News.

A statement released by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office says that Reitz was suspected to have a .15% blood alcohol concentration when he crashed into the "Booty" singer's car on Sept. 27 in Malibu, Calif. Lopez's children were also inside the Rolls Royce at the time of the accident. Reitz could face up to six months in jail in addition to a $1,000 fine.

Lopez Instagrammed a photo of herself with BFF Remini shortly after the accident occurred in which she described the event.

"Sitting at a light, riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!!" Lopez said. "Thank god everyone ok!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycocnuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird."

Her twins, Max and Emme, sat in the backseat, but police told E! News that no one in the car was hurt. Earlier that day Lopez had shared a video of Max wearing a New York Yankees baseball hat—his mom is from The Bronx—while moving his head to the beat of a Drake song.

Hopefully he was able to have just as much fun afterwards! Thank goodness everyone was safe and sound.
