We know this from personal experience: shopping for self-proclaimed cat ladies like Taylor Swift is so damn simple. Basically, if you buy them something with cats on it or if you buy something for their cats, you're doing it right.

So it's very easy to see why Taylor thinks her mom's Christmas gift is the best of all the gifts she received this year.

The Grammy-winner posted a photo of two personalized cat carriers for her two adorable cats, Meredith and Olivia. How were they personalized? The carriers were labeled with the cat's full names and the characters they were named after: Doctor Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy and Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order: SVU.

And in the pic, her Scottish Folds were already tucked away in their brand new bags.

"Not that giving Christmas presents is a competition, but this year, my mom won," the Grammy-award winner wrote on Instagram next to the photo of her kitties peering from inside their fancy carriers.

Her mom's gift certainly had a little more oomph than her dad's Xmas gift this year.

"My dad just gave me ten lint rollers for Christmas, not for lint but 'because you always have glitter all over you,'" she wrote on Twitter on Christmas Eve. "Great start, Swifts."

The 25-year-old has always said that Christmas is her favorite time of year, as she grew up on a Christmas tree farm. She kicked off the holiday season with a star-studded Christmas-themed birthday bash that was attended by Beyoncé, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith and of course, her really hot brother, Austin.

And speaking of her handsome bro, remember last year when Taylor made sure the world knew that she and her brother did indeed have matching festive onsies? How could you forget?

"Matching Christmas onesies is a thing that's happening right now," the "Blank Space" singer shared on Instagram.

Basically, Taylor knows how to rock out this time of year.
