Simpson is pregnant with the couple's first child together, E! News can exclusively confirm.
Their little one will join Ashlee's 6-year-old son Bronx, her child with ex-husband Pete Wentz, in the family fold. She and Ross tied the knot on Aug. 31.
Meanwhile...mission accomplished for Evan! The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 star told us just last month that he and his wife were "working on" having a family.
"I would like [having kids]," he said. "As many as possible!"
Ross added, "I got married, I have new music and I'm part of Hunger Games. It's been a great year." And to think, 2015 looks to be even more of a life-changer.
Evan and Ashlee enjoyed a relatively whirlwind romance, first going public as a couple in the summer of 2013. He popped the question in January while they were vacationing in Hawaii and, eight months later, they said their I-dos at Diana Ross' Connecticut estate. The groom's famous mom also did the officiating.
In addition to appearing frequently by his side, Simpson just showed up in her husband's new lyric video for his song "How to Live Alone"; his mom also makes an appearance.
"Yay! It's out! I'm excited for everyone to hear my baby @realevanross song #HOWTOLIVEALONE it's so good!!" Ashlee tweeted her support last Saturday.
The new addition to their already sprawling family of course also means another cousin for Jessica Simpson's little ones, Ace and Maxwell.
During their Easter celebration this past spring, Jessica pointed out how Bronx and Maxwell "have the same shy face." We can't wait to see the latest adorable addition to the family album!
