Vogue Paris gave some models the Barbie treatment for their December-January 2015 issue—but these designer dolls are not for playtime, kids!

The "Panoplies" editorial features models posing in designer doll get-ups: We're talking pint-sized ensembles from Moschino (all pink everything), Ralph Lauren (classic Americana), Gucci (chic riding gear), Miu Miu (luxe cheerleader), Dior (garden party fab), Saint Laurent (a little rock and roll), Fendi (sporty Barbie), Valentino (fun florals), Louis Vuitton (jet set sleek), Emporio Armani (jazzy get-up), Dolce & Gabbana (homage to Spain) and, of course, Chanel (ladylike pants and jacket).

Really, all we want for Christmas is everything these living "dolls" are sporting.

Photographer Giampaolo Sgura came up with box-as-a-set idea, and partnered with stylists Claire Dhelens and Celia Azoulay to create the individual looks. And the models give their Barbie bests in the photos, posing with stiff arms and neutral expressions.

While those miniature brogues and handbags and heels are super cute—it is worth mentioning that the mag is taking the commodification of women's bodies to a whole 'nother level. (Only thing missing? A scan code.) That said, we do have to give it to the team for impeccable styling and including signature accessories from each brand in a meaningful way.

What do you think of Vogue Paris' life-size doll spread?
