We'll never understand how Jenny Slate transforms her voice to create Marcel the Shell, but we'll never let it go.

The Parks and Recreation guest star stopped by Conan and once again graced viewers with a rendition of her hit character. This time, however, she didn't sing a song she had written herself; she covered Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide."

Before she sang, however, host Conan O'Brien asked her if she ever randomly puts on her Marcel voice around the house. Much to her husband's chagrin, she does.

"Sometimes I do it when things are going badly. I'll spill something and I'm just like, 'Today is going to hell in a hand basket,'" she said while doing a squeaky Marcel impression.

"That was so quiet I could barely hear it," Conan joked.

That's not all. The 32-year-old actress also said she tries to use it as a motivational tool, which Conan didn't quite understand considering how soft Marcel's voice is.

"I think a 'you can do it' that's that small is not inspiring," the redheaded host laughed.

He continued to note how it appeared she was almost struggling to get the words out, and that was when she admitted that she performs a lot of "covers" at home. One such cover, "Landslide," even brought her husband to tears! The Lorax actress thinks he cried because he thinks she's "crazy," not because her renditions are that amazing LOL.

She only performs a small bit because she doesn't want to have to charge the host, saying, "I know you guys are spending all of that money on gifts," which was a reference to Ellen DeGeneres' appearance on Conan.
