She may be one of the biggest Hollywood stars, but Jennifer Aniston will never forget about the people and places that helped make her dreams come true.

It was perfectly clear Tuesday night when she headed to Jackson Hole restaurant in New York City for a night out with best friend and celebrity hair stylist Chris McMillan.

The two met up around 5 p.m. local time shortly after Aniston concluded press for her latest movie Cake at the Lincoln Center.

Wearing a little black dress and matching jacket, "Jen seemed very happy," an eyewitness told E! News. "She was enjoying a night out with Chris."

As it turns out, the restaurant holds a very special place in Aniston's heart. Long before she became a Golden Globe nominee or even before the Rachel haircut became a favorite among women of all ages, the actress was just a girl working hard at the food establishment.

"I worked at a restaurant called Jackson Hole...a burger joint," she told Queen Latifah earlier this month. "I worked there for about two and a half years. They were so good to me."

So good that Aniston still remembers her boss who was always so supportive of her career.

"Kimo was my boss and if I got [cast in] a crappy little play, or whatever awesome job I thought I received, he would let me go and do this play for two or three months and they always let me come back," she recalled. "My job was always there."

Lesson here: Never forget where you came from.

"Thank you for supporting me all those years ago," Aniston concluded. "It really meant the world to me."
