If there's anyone living life to the fullest, it has to be Teresa Giudice.

With just three weeks to go before she is forced to begin her prison sentence, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is remaining focused on family and friends.

"During the day, it's still business as usual," a source revealed to E! News. "She's busy with the girls, driving them everywhere. She remains very hands-on."

Although the Bravo star has expressed her sadness over not being able to see her daughters every day in the near future, Giudice is feeling hopeful that they will remain busy during the difficult transition.

It most certainly helps that Gia Giudice is finding success with her music group.

"She wants them to be as affected by this as little as possible," the source explained. "She's been so excited, for example, by Gia's budding music career. She knows how happy and busy it keeps Gia, and that's all Teresa really wants for her girls."

Outside of her immediate family, Teresa is also making it a priority to catch up with quality friends who continue to support her throughout the legal saga. Without any cameras around, the best-selling author has been having close pals visit her at the family home to catch up before the new year begins.

"At night, people have been coming over to the house to eat and visit with her and Joe," the insider added. "Right now, it's all about spending time with her real friends and her family."

And while the attention may appear to be all about Teresa this holiday season, those closest to her also realize this Christmas will also be a time to pay tribute to Joe Giudice's late father.

"Joe's brother and sister-in-law dedicated their tree to Joe's late father, Frank," a source shared. "Each member of the family has been bringing over hand-picked ornaments to hang in memory of him."

The Fabulicious author was sentenced to 15 months in prison back in October after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. She is expected to begin her sentence at Danbury prison on or before Jan. 5, 2015.
