For this week's Trend Tracker, we're honing in on the best in iridescent-wear, including glimmering crop tops, bronze pantsuits and lust-worthy silver tees. And for the ultimate shimmer showdown, where better to look than on our favorite red carpet style stars?
On Dec. 9, Jennifer Lopez stepped out in a silver lamé Cédric Charlier blouse, which she paired with a chic gray leather skirt (check that zipper) and metallic knee-high Sophia Webster sandals at an American Idol event in Los Angeles. We love the singer's ability to mix and match her metallic hues, which is super simple to do if you're working in the same color family (we're talking silver with gunmetal, gold with bronze, etc.).
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande took to the stage in metallic accessories—mostly notably a pair of sparkly Mickey ears (bye-bye cat headbands) at a taping for a Disney Christmas special in front of Cinderella's castle at Walt Disney World.
Finally, we can't take our eyes off of Lady Gaga's metallic-on-metallic ensemble, which the pop star wore to the 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors in New York City. The bronze pantsuit paired well with her champagne-hued tank top and, well, then there's that silver wig. (Yep, your locks can get in on the act too!)
