Growing up can be tough, especially when your family constantly nags you about how your day was. The question annoys everyone, but when an 11-year-old girl named Riley gets flustered, all hell breaks loose.

Based on the first trailer for Disney and Pixar's Inside Out, which centers around Riley experiencing an emotional upheaval after her dad's new job uproots her family from the Midwest to San Francisco, the young girl is no exception.

When Riley's mom (voiced by Diane Lane) senses something's wrong with her daughter while the family is eating dinner, the inner workings of her brain signal her husband to try to find out more from their daughter. Stereotypically, however, the emotions in her husband's head are busy watching football instead of paying attention to Riley. So when his emotions finally pick up on the cue, they're very confused.

"Is it garbage night? Did we leave the toilet seat up? What is it woman?!" they wonder.

The emotions inside mom's head, however, are none too pleased when he ultimately figures out what he should do...and then blows it.

"For this we gave up that Brazilian helicopter pilot?" mom's emotions muse.

Hilarity ensues when every character's emotions go to war with one another and ultimately results in the dad "putting his foot down."
