Meet Carson. He's an adorable 4-year-old boy from Colorado, and his one wish is to be a UPS driver for a day.

Like a lot of little kids, Carson is a huge fan of trucks, but that big brown truck holds a special place in his heart, and with the help of his friend and UPS driver, Ernie (who makes deliveries to Carson's house two or three times a week), Carson's wish to be a driver for a day came true.

And it will absolutely melt your heart.

"When it first started, he wouldn't even come out of the house," Ernie says in the video. "He would just look at the truck from inside the window...He loved trucks in general, but for some reason the UPS truck just really captivated him."

Mr. Ernie (as Carson calls him) adds, "It's pretty neat to see him with his UPS uniform on." (Yes, Carson has his own teenie-tiny brown uniform and it's so cute.)

"He's always looking really sharp with his hat and his boots," Ernie says and adds that no matter how many times he visits Carson, he gets the same excited reaction. But one day was extra special, because when Ernie lifted the back of the truck open, he surprised Carson with a mini UPS truck!

"It has a pedal in there! Oh my gosh," Carson squealed. And then, he got straight to work!

Carson packed up his mini truck with boxes for the neighbors, and after glancing at his hand-drawn map, began his route of deliveries, going door to door and making sure the recipient signed off for their packages, just like a real UPS driver.

"I've been driving for over 25 years and everything is different every single day, and there's a lot of really neat people," Ernie says, "but nobody stands out like Carson does. He's really special."
