Prince William and Kate Middleton's big day in the Big Apple including a visit to one of Princess Diana's near and dear charity organizations, CityKids foundation.

The Duke and Duchess stopped by The Door, which teamed up with CityKids to provide support to kids in need, to catch a special music and dance performance.

Steven Prescod, one of the lucky ones who got the chance to meet with the royal couple, told reporters that William said he's been to the White House and got to meet Jay Z and Beyoncé at the Nets game, but that the kids' performance "was worth twice the price of the tickets for the Barclays Center."

Naehaya Barcelona, 16, said that Kate was "so much more down to Earth than I thought she would be."

But it was Eduardo Gonzales, 22, who had the cutest insight from his chance to meet the royal duo.

"They were like peanut butter and jelly," he shared. "They sync together, finish each other's sentences."

Meanwhile, the compliments just kept on comin', and Destiny Carter Brown, 15, gushed that Prince George's mother had the presence of Michelle Obama.

Laurie Meadoff, the founder of The CityKids Foundation, couldn't help but share how proud she was to see William involved in a charity that was so special to his late mother.

"By experiencing the deep and meaningful work and words of the youth of The Citykids Foundation and The Door, The Duke and Duchess will not only catch a deep glimpse into the lives of these young people but also see what amazing results happen when you give young people a safe space to process the world around them," she said.

"30 years later her son coming to see something that uses the same model…all the young people, and the staff, were blown away by their authenticity."
