The 35-year-old new mom, who welcomed her first child with husband Jared Pobre on Aug. 20, took to her blog on Monday to publicly share the first photos of her darling baby girl, Ava Grace, in addition to penning a sweet post on motherhood.
"Life can be unpredictable," the mother of one, who previously dated George Clooney before secretly tying the knot with her man in March, wrote. "You feel one way, and then…boom! You need to entirely change your perspective.
"That is certainly what happened to me this past year," she continued. "Until I started dating Jared, the idea of being married and having a family was never on my radar. I was just hoping that the right love would find me. But after a serendipitous reconnection with Jared, a friend who turned out to be my soulmate, we created a family together almost instantly."
Since welcoming the little one, Keibler and her hubby have been living a quiet life out of the spotlight (with the exception of the star showing off her insane post-baby bod during a workout in September) and are clearly cherishing their first months as new parents.
"Talk about a serious change in my reality!" the blond beauty wrote of both marriage and motherhood. "This year and the holiday season especially has me feeling so nostalgic about family—my family, my new family, and of course, the newest addition to our family.
"Ava has graced us with such joy, such light and such love–we never saw it coming," she wrote before concluding, "She is our special little lady, and I couldn't be more thankful for how she has opened my heart."
Keibler announced her pregnancy just weeks after the news of her secret wedding hit the web. "More blessings!! We're an elated family-to-be!" the couple told People at the time of their baby news with Pobre adding, "I'm extremely excited about starting a family and building a future with Stacy."
