Prince William's Monday in America got off to a special start with a visit at the White House!

The Duke of Cambridge met with President Barack Obama in the oval office around 11 a.m. and the two sat side-by-side while exchanging a few words.

Laughs were exchanged as press photographers looked on, and it seems as though Obama questioned the young royal about the highly anticipated arrival of his second child next spring.

"It's going to be interesting," the prince was overheard telling the president, adding that it's bound to be a "busy year next year." There's no doubt about that!

William and Kate Middleton haven't even been stateside for more than 24 hours and their trip to America has already been a whirlwind.

The two touched down at John F. Kennedy International Airport after a seven-hour flight via British Airways late last night and made their way to the Carlyle Hotel in the Big Apple.

The good-looking duo held hands in front of a crowd of excited New Yorkers and photographers and walked into their home away from home hand-in-hand.

William wore a signature suit with a blue tie while Kate wore black gloves and a burgundy Séraphine coat over her dress.

"It's good to be here," Prince William told the hotel staff upon entering through the main entrance.

Next up on William's itinerary, after meeting Vice President Joe Biden, is to make a stop at the World Bank.

Prince George's dad penned a speech ahead of making an appearance, asking for reform on illegal wildlife trade.

"I am honoured to have the opportunity to speak at such an influential forum, given the World Bank's prominence and rich history in global development and in addressing some of the world's most pressing problems," he wrote, adding that the issue is "extremely close to my heart."
