What would the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser look like if the movie was a Wes Anderson film?

Days after the official teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams' new, seventh Star Wars film was posted, fan Jonah Feingold posted on YouTube a parody titled, Wes Anderson Presents: Star Wars Force Awakens Trailer.

The clip, which is unaffiliated with the real Anderson, contains the same song, "Le Temps De L'amour" by French singer Françoise Hardy, that is featured in the director's 2012 movie Moonrise Kingdom and its trailer. The director, who also helmed movies such as Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and The Grand Budapest Hotel, is known for making his film scenes appear symmetric and often uses single shots and overhead shots, as well as miniatures and a minimal number of colors.

The Star Wars parody trailer uses a slightly modified version of the font often seen in Anderson movies (Futura) and incorporates mock Polaroids from a Stormtrooper that read, "Dear daughter, need to fight rebels. Love, Dad (the Stormtrooper)." It also refers to a mysterious Sith-like character, who wields a never-before-seen-type of lightsaber, as a "hooded ruffian."

Many fans have commented on the video's YouTube landing page that they think the parody trailer is more reminiscent of the style used by fellow famed director Quentin Tarantino.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens , the start of a new trilogy and the first movie in the franchise since 2005, features a new droid and new cast members Oscar Isaac (pictured above), Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, who is seen wearing a Stormtrooper uniform and is unmasked. The new movie is set for release on Dec. 18, 2015.

Other parodies of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens have also been released over the past week, including one that shows what one fan thinks the movie would look like if George Lucas returned the the helm, as well as one that shows the characters depicted as LEGOs. Watch the latter trailer below.
