Jai Courtney plays hero Kyle Reese in the fifth Terminator film, Terminator Genisys, whose trailer was released on Thursday, and you may be asking yourself, who is that hottie and where have I seen him before...and where can I see more of him?

Yep, the 28-year-old Australian actor portrayed the blond-haired gladiator Varro in Starz's racy series Spartacus: War of the Damned, also called Spartacus: Blood and Sand (and had quite a few raunchy sex scenes). Yep, that was him tussling with the Tom Cruise movie Jack Reacher, and he did indeed play Bruce Willis' John McClane's estranged spy son Jack in Die Hard film No. 5, A Good Day to Die Hard.

This past March, you may have been drawn to his character in Divergent, the Macklemore-like, neck-tattooed Dauntless leader Eric. He will reprise his role in the sequel, Insurgent, out in March.

He also appears in the new film Unbroken, which was directed by Angelina Jolie and is set for release on Dec. 25—Christmas Day . Earlier this week, it was revealed that he will also star in the comic book villain-themed film Suicide Squad, alongside the likes of Jared Leto, Cara DelevingneTom Hardy and Will Smith.

Check out five things to know about Courtney below.

1. This is how you pronounce his name...

We knew you were wondering. Jai is pronounced "Jie." Good. Glad that's settled.

2. He was good friends with his late Spartacus co-star, main actor Andy Whitfield.

Whitfield died at age 39 after battling cancer. In an interview to promote a 2012 documentary about his life, Courtney calls him a "dear, dear friend."

3. He's an underwear model.

Look out, David Beckham! Check out a behind-the-scenes look at Courtney modeling for Bonds Australia. He serves as a spokesmodel for the apparel company. And to be fair, he also models regular clothes.

4. Is he single?

Undetermined. The actor began dating Australian star Gemma Pranita, who played Jade Mitchell on popular local soap Neighbours, more than seven years ago. They were both students at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Hugh Jackman's alma mater.

In April, while speaking via phone on Australian radio show Kyle & Jackie O in April, DJ Kyle Sandilands said, "Someone told me you're still with your long-term girlfriend, which I had to give you respect for that, 'cause, a lot of these actors, they go over there and they just start slaying chicks."

"I don't know where you're getting your information from, Kyle," Courtney replied.

5. He's got some mad music skills.

Check out this video of him playing a guitar and singing a song by Australia punk/rock/ ska/reggae band, Los Capitanes.

"I was so angry at my buddy for putting that on YouTube," he said on the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show earlier this year.
