The "Whiskey" singer and former One Tree Hill star is engaged to Michael Caussin, her rep confirms to E! News. The proposal came after a full day of celebrating her 31st birthday. Caussin gathered a small group of family and friends when he presented the country musician with a diamond engagement ring.
"It was a beautiful surprise," the bride-to-be said in a statement Wednesday. "He was the perfect gentleman. Nervous, on one knee, and surrounded by some of the people that love us the most."
Kramer also tweeted, "Had the best birthday I've ever had. Thanks for all the LOVE!!!!"
Caussin popped the question in Nashville Tuesday following a four-month courtship.
This is the fourth engagement for Kramer and it will be her third marriage.
The "Love" singer was previously married to Michael Gambino in 2004 and to Johnathon Schaech from 2010-2011. She was also engaged to country singer Brantley Gilbert, but the couple called it off in 2013. The "Why Ya Wanna" singer was also briefly romantically linked to Scott Eastwood, son of actor/filmmaker Clint Eastwood.
In addition to planning her next wedding, Kramer is also busy recording music for her sophomore album.
Caussin, meanwhile, played tight end at James Madison University. From December 2010 until August 2014, he played in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins. Caussin, 27, is now a free agent.
A wedding date has not been set.
