A Christmas fit for a Queen!

With the big holiday right around the corner, Prince William and Kate Middleton are already gearing up for the royal family's plans.

Hello! magazine is reporting that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hosting the annual Christmas dinner at their recently remodeled estate in Norfolk.

Prince George's parents are said to be holding the event in tandem with a housewarming party at Amner Hall, which recently was renovated under Kate's direction.

Queen Elizabeth II will undoubtedly be the guest of honor at the home, which sets the bar pretty high for the host and hostess!

And it looks like the Duchess is already getting ready for the big dinner as a source tells E! News that Kate was seen at Bakers and Larners of Holt in Norfolk last week doing some home shopping.

We're told that she picked up some cooking utensils while taking a look around the shop with her two bodyguards.

Meanwhile, a source told Vanity Fair's Royal Watch correspondent Katie Nicholl that "The Queen is looking forward to seeing the house, especially the new nursery that Kate has designed." (No pressure, Kate.)

Amner Hall was a wedding gift to Will and Kate from the queen back in April 2011 and has been undergoing extensive renovations over the last two years.

There are reports that the royal couple has made the property more private and has upgraded the kitchen, rerouted the driveway, added a conservatory and made room for Kate's family to stay by expanding the bedroom quarters.

However, it wouldn't be a Christmas for the royals without a Christmas Eve dinner at Sandringham House, which is just down the road from Amner Hall.
