On Monday, just days after marrying Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, the newlywed pleaded guilty to a DUI stemming from an Aug. 7 arrest, a Totowa Municipal Court spokesperson confirmed to E! News. Two other charges against him—unsafe lane change and careless driving—were dismissed.
Jionni's license will be suspended for 90 days, and he has to complete 12 hours of a drug and alcohol education classes. Additionally, he was fined $614.
Snooki, you might imagine, will likely forgive her man for his past run-in with the law. After all, she's overindulged herself in the past. The day after her wedding, she tweeted about being "Hungover with my husband." The newlyweds seemed to take it in stride, though. According to the former Jersey Shore star, they were remedying those headaches by "Getting McDonalds and being slobs together."
Of course, the bride and groom can't be too lazy—they've got two little kids at home! The couple's 2-year-old son Lorenzo and 2-month-old daughter Giovanna were even part of mom and dad's big day.
Also in attendance at Snooki and Jionni's lavish wedding reception? BFF Jenni "JWoww" Farley, who was a bridesmaid, as well as Samantha "Sweetheart" Giancola and Deena Cortese. A source told E! News many of Snooki's former Jersey Shore cast members were in attendance—including DJ Pauly D.
