Jennifer Lawrence knows how to do Thanksgiving right.

Usually, one gets all dressed up for Thanksgiving dinner with the family, but then things get physically uncomfortable. There you are in your nice clothes that are now suffocating you because you just ate your body weight in carbs, and you don't regret it because it was so good, but you can't move and that sucks.

So, in what seems to be an effort to avoid that unbearable occurrence, J.Law had Thanksgiving dinner in sweats. Genius, indeed.

In fact, the actress went all the way casual for the holiday. She was photographed greeting her family members in sweat pants, an oversized gray hoodie and slippers as she touched down in Louisville, Ky.

(OK, sure, there's the slight chance she got gussied up after the fact, but there's also the chance she didn't. We're rooting for the latter.)

The cazh attire continued when J.Law head out for some Black Friday shopping in her hometown (although it wasn't sweat-pants casual). She was photographed wearing skinny denim jeans, a large cardigan and gray beanie while rocking a makeup-free face.

Aside from celebrating the holidays, Lawrence found herself climbing up the pop charts for "The Hanging Tree," a track off the soundtrack to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1.

The 24-year-old currently holds the No. 12 spot on ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart and the No. 14 spot on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, putting her behind One Direction, Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor, but above notable names such as Nicki Minaj, Lorde, and Sam Smith.

And "The Hanging Tree" might do the same thing in the states, too. Billboard reports that the track could move 150,000 copies, making it a contender for the top 40 of Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

See J.Law, you were worried for nothing.
