If there are two people that especially miss Paul Walker, it has to be the late actor's father and daughter.

Their special memories were on full display this weekend as the world marked the first anniversary of the Fast & Furious star's tragic death.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Paul Walker Sr. updated fans on how his granddaughter is coping after losing her father figure.

"She's doing—I hear from the grapevine—very good in school," he shared with E! News. "She's keeping busy."

He added, "I think she's just a little bit shy around me, grandpa. I think time is on my side and things will get better."

On Sunday evening, Meadow Walker posted a touching tribute to Instagram in honor of her talented father. The throwback picture featured the 16-year-old as an infant when Paul held her in his arms.

"I love you," she wrote to her followers. Short and sweet, while also so personal and powerful.

To this day, Paul's father continues to feel his son's presence. He also can't help but smile when remembering a man with such a "good heart."

"He didn't like the limelight," Paul Sr. shared before recalling a few memorable words from his son. "I really don't like the business, but I can do a lot of good with the money I make."

That good includes his well-regarded charity Reach Out Worldwide that continues to flourish in his absence.

"ROWW continues to be, to function, to help others even after our primary contributor, my brother, Paul Walker has passed," Cody Walker told E! News just last week. "I know he would be so stoked to know that. ROWW changed his life, and he was so proud of it."

As fans eagerly await for Walker's final movie role in Furious 7, the actor's father will continue to remember his son for his kind heart and giving soul.

"Paul just radiated love and you can't fake that," he shared. "Paul had a really good heart. I thought, 'How did I deserve such a wonderful son?'"
