Several of Paul Walker's Fast & Furious co-stars took to social media on Sunday to pay homage to their friend, who died exactly one year ago.

The actor was killed in a car crash north of Los Angeles on Nov. 30, 2013. He was 40 years old. Walker was survived by teenage daughter, Meadow, his parents, his two sisters and his two brothers.

"A year ago today... a year of mourning... and his absence still leaves me speechless," co-star Vin Diesel said on  Facebook. "We miss you Pablo..."

Many members of the Fast & Furious cast have said in interviews they consider themselves family. Walker and Vin have worked on most of the films in the franchise, including on the first one, The Fast and the Furious, which was released in 2003. Walker's last movie is the upcoming seventh installment, Furious 7.

On Sunday, Vin recalled a moving memory of how he confided in Walker on the day his first child was born and how the actor encouraged him to do something very special.
