Days after Russell Brand poignantly replied, "I don't know who that is" at the mere mention of ex wife Katy Perry, the 39-year-old actor is spilling on his failed 14-month marriage.

"I would like to get married [again]," the Get Him to the Greek star said during his appearance on The Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday, reaffirming his past sentiments. "I was married before and I really liked it."

The English comedian and the 30-year-old pop star famously wed in a traditional Hindi ceremony in India surrounded by friends and family back in October 2010, and less than two years later, the two filed for divorce. Both Perry and Brand have since spoken out in public about their split, with the "Dark Horse" singer telling Marie Claire magazine that her former husband wanted her to have children, while Brand has cited "incompatibility" as the reason for calling it quits.

Asked about the baby reports and Perry's previous confession, Brand seemingly brushed off the question with a quip and failed to provide a direct response.

"It didn't have to be ours, I said we can just get one [a baby] anywhere," he joked to Williams, whom he continued to hit on throughout the segment. "One that's just loose in the wild. A free-range one from a farm."

Brand also confirmed reports claiming he's currently single ("Yes I am as a matter of fact"), and, after Wendy pressed the funnyman to provide a straight answer, he admitted he doesn't know if he sees himself dating another famous woman in the future.

"I don't know, I don't know..." he said, "I think you just have to meet people and try and judge them...We're all captivated and fascinated by celebrities...but then you chat with them and you have to judge them on their own individual merit."

During their chat, Brand, who will celebrate 12 years of sobriety in December, also touched on the nature of addiction, explaining, "I think addiction is any behavior that you're doing to distract yourself from being in pain and misery and when you try to stop, you can't stop. For me, that is the nature of addiction."

And, despite his ability to be serious for a moment, he quickly returned to his mischievous self when Wendy approached the topic of sex addiction, repeatedly interrupting the 50-year-old TV personality while cracking a number of jokes.
