Taylor Swift has been so busy celebrating the launch of her new album that she's drawing, well, a "blank space" when it comes to planning another special occasion: Her birthday.

The country-turned-pop star turns 25 on Dec. 13. She was asked about her birthday plans in an interview on Live With Kelly and Michael that aired on Wednesday.

"I don't know what I'm going to do," said the singer, dressed in a gorgeous fall-themed outfit, complete with a multi-colored skirt. "I haven't really planned that far out."

Her album, 1989, was released a month ago and contains the hit songs "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space," the latter of which she recently performed on shows such as the 2014 American Music Awards and The Voice. More than 1.287 million copies of the record were sold during its debut week, following a slew of promotional events, including "Secret Sessions," or listening parties Swift had thrown for fans at her homes in New York, Nashville, Rhode Island and Los Angeles.

"It's kind of weird, like, when you're so excited about something, like, I was so geared up for the album launch and so excited about it. It was two years in the making. So, in my mind, I was like, 'Birthdays happen every year, like, album launches only happen every few years,' so I went and did that and I'm still on this promotion tour," Swift said. "And so, it's so far back on my list of priorities that I'm turning 25."

She later told co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, "I should have a big party. You're right."

"I do like your philosophy of 'Live your life every day,' but don't forget my birthday, people," joked the latter host, who turned 43 last Friday.

The two also mentioned Swift's baking skills.

"I could bake myself any kind of, like, bevvy of cupcakes, cakes, cookies," the singer said. "It would be a whole thing and my friends like to bake too, so that could be the party. It would just be a baking extravaganza."

During her "Secret Sessions," fans were served cookies baked by the singer. Swift can throw quite the party (complete with Slip 'N Slide).

Swift was on tour around the time of her 24th birthday last year. At shows held in Perth, Australia, after she mentioned her "most amazing birthday week," fans sang "Happy Birthday" to her. They also sang to her at a show in Melbourne.

Swift celebrated her birthday that year in the city at a party with friends, including fellow singer Lorde. The two recently celebrated mutual pal Sarah Hyland's 24th birthday.

In 2012, Swift spent her 23rd birthday with then-beau Harry Styles from One Direction. He bought her 23 cupcakes.

In 2009, Swift had a Christmas-themed birthday party at her home in Nashville, where she and her mother cooked and baked treats for their guests.

Meanwhile, Swift has already made post-birthday plans. She will perform at the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Dec. 9, marking her second such gig (see photos from last year's event).

Swift is also the headlining performer at New Year's Rockin' Eve, which takes place live in Times Square in New York on Dec. 31 / Jan. 1. Swift has performed at the annual event twice, once in 2008 and once in 2012.

"There's something so exciting about it this time, having been in New York now," she said on Live With Kelly and Michael. "I'm just so stoked about it, like, I can't wait."

"I have all these just like, I have this, like, song called 'Welcome to New York' and it was my dream since I wrote the song to play it in Times Square on New Year's," she said. "So hopefully, I'll get to play that song and hopefully, there'll be confetti and like, glitter, 'cause that's how I see it."
