A YouTube video of this top dog wagging his ears to the beat of Flo Rida's "Low" has gone viral, and while he might have had a little human help with his moves, it's undoubtedly a #pawsome clip. It's so impressive, in fact, that it's up for a Golden Bone Award!
According to Fox 59, 4-year-old Jaxson is nominated in the Weirdest Dog Talent category of Fox's Cause for Paws: An All-Star Dog Spectacular. The two-hour special, hosted by Jane Lynch and Hilary Swank, airs Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m. on Fox, and yes, groupies, you can see more of Jaxson there!
Cause for Paws, previously called The Great American Dog-a-Thon, is a celebration of rescue dogs and they joy they bring to our lives! The special showcases a variety of canine categories, including Cutest Puppy, Best Celebrity/Dog Look-Alike, Funniest Dog, Most Talented Dog, Best Talking Dog and Best Viral Dog Video.
Celebrities (of the human variety) are involved, too! Stars like Julianne Hough, Pink, Emmy Rossum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Scarlett Johansson and Miranda Lambert will introduce the audience to rescue dogs who are currently up for adoption, giving viewers a chance to foster or permanenlty bring home their new best friend.
Jaxson flew out to L.A. to film for the special—something owner Stephanie Walton described as "an amazing experience"!
"Nothing like having Betty White take a selfie with your dog," she gushed to Fox 59.
Fox's Cause for Paws will help viewers find or support their own canine superstar, too, providing info on adoptable animals in their local areas as well as giving them the opportunity to make donations to the Petfinder Foundation. Pedigree Food for Dogs will be presenting the Shelter Hero of the Year Award, a special award honoring an individual who has dedicated his/her life to making sure shelter dogs receive the love, care and resources they need to find their forever home.
